Phd in Geomatic Engineering
The PhD Program in Geomatic Engineering aims to train individuals with the highest academic and research qualifications in an international, excellent, and competitive context within the field of Geomatics and related Geospatial Technologies.
The doctoral studies include:
- Advanced academic training: Students follow a structured academic plan covering transversal aspects such as an introduction to scientific methodology and research dissemination, as well as specific training activities related to the thesis project topic.
- High-quality research development: Under the guidance and supervision of a program researcher, students conduct high-quality research, culminating in the presentation and defense of their doctoral thesis before a committee.
The PhD in Geomatics Engineering spans four years (standard period for full-time study, seven years for part-time study) and leads to the achievement of a doctoral degree.
The PhD Program in Geomatic Engineering is an official inter-university program offered jointly by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
